Mary Lou Clifford, 96, of Frenchburg passed away Wednesday, January 28, 2021 at Edgewood Estates.  She was born July 8, 1924 to the late George Franklin Harmon and Rachel Caudill.  She was a member of Mariba First Church of God.

She is survived by one son, Arnold Earl Clifford (Sue) of Frenchburg, KY; a grandson she raised, Randy Dean Johnson (Teresa) of Spotsylvania, VA; three daughters, Minnie Mae Caudill of Morehead, KY, Betty Gean Lewis of Frenchburg, KY and Elsie Rae Woodward (Rick) of Hendersonville, TN; ten grandchildren; and 25 great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Shelby Estill Clifford; three sons, James Taylor Clifford, George Edward Clifford and Garland Ervin Clifford; four brothers, Joe Harmon, Sam Harmon, Taylor Harmon and Charles Harmon; and two sisters, Hattie Clifford and Maggie Peyton.

A funeral service will be held 1 PM, Sunday, January 31, 2021 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel Frenchburg with Rev. Jimmy Daulton and David Woodward officiating, burial following at Back Cemetery.  Visitation will be held 11-1 PM, Sunday, January 31, 2021 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel.  Pallbearers will be David Lewis, Steven Johnson, Dave Woodward, Jessie Wells, Michael Woodward, Rick Clifford and John Clifford.
