Mary Helen Wilson Hoffman

She was 86 years of age and made her journey home On Saturday May 8th after a short illness and her passing surrounded by family at Baptist Health in Lexington.  She was born on January 7th 1935 to the Late Oliver Roy And Kathleen Snedegar Wilson.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Gill Hoffman ll, and two brothers, Bill Wilson and Joel Wilson.   Mary Helen graduated from Mt. Sterling High School then began working at Paul Miiler Ford, Clays Tobacco Warehouse and the Exchange Bank before becoming the Owner of the Living Room where she excelled in decorating and upholstry.  This was her passion.  She loved her grandchildren  and great-grandchildren and  was so thrilled to see them whenever possible.  She loved ice cream, singing, and her family and was a blessing to all who knew her.

She is survived by two sons,  Harry Gill Hoffman, III (Mary Ellen) of Williams, AZ and Evan Wilson Hoffman (Ellen) of Mt. Sterling, KY; one daughter, Kathleen Hoffman Brown (Mike) of Mt. Sterling; one sister, Irene Jane Riggs of Lawrenceburg, IN; six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services will be at 2 PM, Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at the Taul Funeral Home Chapel in Mt. Sterling with Rev. Kristy Long officiating and burial following in the Machpelah Cemetery.  Friends may visit Tuesday from 12 noon -2 pm at the Taul Funeral Home in Mt. Sterling.  Pallbearers will be Josh Long, Kris Long, Josh Brown and Mike Brown.  Honorary pallbearers will be Ross Melton, R. T. Hoffman and Chenault Woodford.  In lieu of flowers donations are suggested to the Montgomery County Regional Arts Center, 101 East Main St., Mt. Sterling, KY 40353.
