Mayme R. Spencer, 81, of Mt. Sterling passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at St. Joseph Hospital Mt. Sterling.  She was born February 25, 1941 to the late Walter and Nellie Manley Reynolds.  She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church, worked at Rayburn's Market and she supported the St. Jude Hospital.

She is survived by two sons, Wayne Spencer (Kem) of Jeffersonville, KY and Tim Spencer (Lisa) of Sharpsburg, KY; daughter, Regina "Jeanie" Treadway (Doug) of Princeton, KY; four sisters, Mary Sargent of Mt. Sterling, KY, Wilma Landrum (Robert) of Means, KY, Juanita Stockton of Paris, KY and Carolyn Harlow of North Middletown, KY; five grandchildren, Monica Matney (Plennie), Anthony Spencer, Timothy Spencer (Karie), Matthew Treadway and Emily Spencer; eight great grandchildren, Ashton Adkins, Shane Matney, Erica Matney, Austin Matney, Anthony Matney, Eli Spencer, Easton Spencer and Cash Spencer; several nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog, Angel.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Emery "Bud" Spencer, a brother, Walter Clayton Reynolds Jr; three sisters, Patricia Doolin, Betty Gibson and Sally Long; and a great grandson, Gabriel Adkins.

Funeral services will be held 2 PM, Friday, November 25, 2022 at Emmanuel Baptist Church with Rev. Lloyd Latimer officiating, burial following at Machpelah Cemetery.  Visitation will be held 12-2 PM, Friday, November 25, 2022 at Emmanuel Baptist Church.  Pallbearers will be Kevin Rudd, Matthew Treadway, Doug Treadway, Chas Sargent, Ashton Adkins, Plennie Matney and Timmy Spencer Jr.
