Mexie Marie Francis Robinette, 91, of Bunker Hill Road, Mt. Sterling, Kentucky passed away Friday, January 1, 2021 at the St. Joseph-Mt. Sterling Hospital.  She was born in Pikeville, Kentucky on September 23, 1929 the daughter of the late Asbury and Estie Jane Walters Francis.  She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and homemaker. She was a member of the Pilgrim Home Old Regular Baptist Church and the Montgomery County Cattleman's Association.

She is survived by one son, Ronald Robinette of Mt. Sterling; five daughters, Billie K. Stanley (Michael) of Mt. Sterling, Bettie Gay Branham of Mt. Sterling, Lisa Marie Skeens (Mark) of Mt. Sterling, Linda Michelle Dobbs (Kurt) of Owensboro, KY and Johnda Carol Hazelwood of Henderson, KY; fourteen grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and two great, great grandchildren also survive.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 71 years, Oliver Lee "John" Robinette; two brothers, Jess Francis and Gomer Francis; and three sisters, Odessa Walters, Mary Betty Elkins and Gladis Staton.

Funeral services will be at 1 PM, Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at the Taul Funeral Home Chapel with Bros. Richard Staton and Dale Williamson officiating and burial following in the Machpelah Cemetery.  Friends may visit Tuesday from 11 am til 1 pm at the Taul Funeral Home.  Pallbearers will be Michael Stanley, Mark Skeens, Kurt Dobbs, Michael Hazelwood, Adam Stanley and Aaron Stanley.  Honorary pallbearers will be Jonathon Robinette, Tyler Dobbs, Carter Dobbs, and Hugh Patrick Hazelwood.  In lieu of flowers donations are suggested to the  Pilgrim Home Church, C/O Mike Johnson,3331 Brushy Road, Varney, KY 41571.
