Michael Rainey Cox, 56, of Frenchburg passed away Friday, March 14, 2025 at his residence.  He was born September 14, 1968 in Montgomery County, KY to the late Woodford and Carolyn "Susie" Bowman Cox.  He was a Gunsmith and an Honorary Deputy in Menifee County, KY.

He is survived by brothers, Steven Todd Cox (Cheryl) of Salt Lick, KY, Richard Cox (Joyce) of Wellington, KY and Kenneth Cox (Wanda) of Salt Lick, KY; nephews, Morgan Cox (Katie), Zachary Cox (Breanna), Troyal Cox (Skylar), Bryan Cox (Meranda), Ryan Cox (Leslie), Jason Cox and Isiah Cox; nieces, Nevaeh Cox and Cloe Terrill; great nephews, Mason Lee, Noah Lee, Dallas Calvert, Parker Cox and Cooper Cox; and great nieces, Mallory Cox and Gabrielle Cox.

Funeral services will be held 1 PM, Monday, March 17, 2025 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel Frenchburg with Bro. Wayne Meyers officiating.  Visitation will be held 11AM -1 PM, Monday, March 17, 2025 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel Frenchburg.  Pallbearers will be Ryan Cox, Bryan Cox, Jason Cox, Morgan Cox, Zachary Cox, Troyal Cox, Isiah Cox, Nevaeh Cox and Cloe Terrill.
