Michael R. "Butter" Stiltner, 63, of Frenchburg passed away Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at St. Joseph Hospital Lexington.  He was born January 20, 1960 in Frenchburg, KY to Freda Stiltner and the late Herman Monk Stiltner.  He was a truck driver for Hilco Trucking.

He is survived by his mother, Freda Stiltner of Frenchburg, KY; son, Dylan Stiltner of Frenchburg, KY; daughter, Ashley Byrd (Leonard) of Jeffersonville, KY; sister, Pam Conway of Frenchburg, KY; brothers, Rick Stiltner (Barbara) of Frenchburg, KY, and Eric Stiltner of Frenchburg, KY; grandchildren, Riley Byrd, Laney Byrd, Noah Byrd and Haley Wells; and great grandchildren, Amiri Jenkins and Deon Jenkins.

In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by sons, Christopher Stiltner and Stewart Smallwood.

A memorial service will be held 2 PM, Saturday, December 2, 2023 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel Frenchburg with Rev. Alan Ratliff and Pastor Wendell Clevenger Officiating.  Visitation will be held 10 AM - 2 PM, Saturday, December 2, 2023 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel Frenchburg.  Honorary pallbearers will be all Truck Driving Friends.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
