Mildred S. Rogers, 90, of Mt. Sterling passed away Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at Ridgeway Manor Nursing Home and Rehabilitation.  She was born September 13, 1930 to the late Rev. Harold Leslie and Ethel Earl Shumway.  She was a member of First United Methodist Church Mt. Sterling and The Lioness Club in Winchester.  She loved to bowl and an avid softball player.

She is survived by two sons, David Rogers (Jackie) of Florence, KY and Jim Rogers (Pamela) of Apex, NC; one daughter, Cheryl Rogers of Mt. Sterling, KY; one brother, Alger Shumway of Cattlesburg, KY; five grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she in preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Rogers; one brother, Tracy Shumway; and one sister, Goldie Ginn.

A private family service with Pastor Eric Patterson officiating will be held in compliance with the Executive Orders that have been set forth by the Governor.  In lieu of flowers donations are suggested to the First United Methodist Church, 846 Grassy Lick Road, Mt. Sterling, KY 40353.
