Nellie Mae Patton, 90, of Mt. Sterling passed away Thursday, February 24, 2022 at the St. Joseph-Mt. Sterling Hospital.  She was born in Montgomery County, Kentucky on July 14, 1931 the daughter of the late Anthony and Ethel Martin Nunn.  She was a homemaker, a member of the Pentecostal faith and the widow of Bill Patton.

She is survived by a son, Jerry Patton of Mt. Sterling; three daughters, Margaret (Billy) Rogers and Patricia Manley both of Mt. Sterling and Dorthie Patton of Carlisle, KY; one sister, Ellie Johnson of Mt. Sterling; twenty-five grandchildren, fifty great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by four sons, Donald Patton, Anthony Patton, William Patton and Jackie Patton; two daughters, Jewell Bush and Joyce Martin; two brothers, Darvin Lee Nunn and Jimmy Nunn; and a sister, Sadie Hendricks.

Funeral services will be 1 PM, Friday, March 4, 2022 at the Taul Funeral Home Chapel in Mt. Sterling with Pastor Billy Rogers officiating and burial following in the Willoughby Cemetery.  Friends may visit Friday from 12 noon - 1 pm at the Taul Funeral Home Chapel.  Pallbearers will be Dean Vaughn, Stephen Thornsburg, Justin Hopkins, Jamie Patton, Jesse Patton, Johnathan Patton, Jackie Patton and Rick Crump.
