Nettie Iker Centers, 83, was a loving mother and grandmother whose greatest joy in life was spending time with the people she loved most. She will be remembered for her sweet nature, her loving heart, and the countless ways she cared for her family throughout her life.

Her parents Joe and Bertha Iker, sisters Virginia Iker, Mina Iker, Maudie Parker, Lucy Stockdale, Lily Story, Annie Vivian and Bessie Rader; and brothers, George Iker, Robert Iker and John Iker. She is survived by one sister, Nellie Bellamy of Mt Sterling.

Nettie devoted much of her life to caring for her family. Nothing brought her greater happiness than being surrounded by her children and grandchildren.

She spent some time working at Carrington Pharmacy and JCPenney in her small town adding another chapter to a life centered on helping others.

Nettie leaves behind a family who loved her dearly and will forever treasure the time they were blessed to share with her. While saying goodbye is never easy, they can find comfort in knowing that the love of a mother and grandmother never truly leaves.

Funeral services will be held 12 PM, Tuesday, October 20, 2026 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Todd Wiley officiating, burial following at Machpelah Cemetery.  Visitation will be held 11 AM-12PM, Tuesday, October 20, 2026 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel.
