Nora E. Ferguson, 95, of Yager Lane, Louisville, Kentucky passed away Sunday, November 27, 2022 at her residence.  She was born in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky on June 3, 1927 the daughter of the late LaFayette and Sadie Clemons Greene.  She was retired teacher's assistant for the Montgomery County Board of Education, a member of the Evergreen Baptist Church and the widow of Alexander Ferguson.

She is survived by five daughters, Rosalind Greene of Louisville, KY, Charlene Williams (Thorse) of Louisville, KY, Cathy Thomas (Max) of Frankfort, KY, Coliss Ferguson of Louisville, KY and Cindy Garrett of Louisville, KY; one brother, Joe Greene of Mt. Sterling, KY; two sisters, Betty Johnson and Carolyn Greene both of Murray Hills, MI; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild also survive.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Clemons Greene and James Greene; three sisters, Angela Scott, Thelma Coleman and Phoebe Burns; and a son in law, Larry Garrett.

Funeral services will be at 12 PM, Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at the Taul Funeral Home Chapel in Mt. Sterling with Rev. Lamont Johnson officiating and burial following in the Olive Hill Cemetery.  Friends may visit Tuesday from 11 AM - 12 Noon at the Taul Funeral Home.
