Norman Fugate, 61, of Buchannan Street, Mt. Sterling passed away Monday, February 7, 2022 at the Clark Regional Medical Center in Winchester.  He was born in Ary, Kentucky on August 16, 1960 the son of the late Woodrow and Virgie Harvey Fugate.  He was a retired truck driver for Yellow Freight and a member of the Christian faith.

He is survived by his wife, Lisa Gross Fugate of Mt. Sterling; a son, Weston Woodrow (Amanda) Fugate of Mt. Sterling; a daughter, Kendra (Harley) Bush of Mt. Sterling; two brothers, James (Paulette) Fugate of Tuscumbia, Alabama and Dale (Sheila) Fugate of Moulton, Alabama; two sisters, Faye (Terry) Sullivan of Hardy, Arkansas and Wanda Napier of Booneville, Mississippi; two grandchildren, Asher Kenton Bush and Nora Mae Fugate.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Hamon Fugate, Monroe Fugate, Sewell Fugate and Ellard Fugate and a sister, Rosie Belle Woolum.

Funeral services will be 1 PM, Friday, February 11, 2022 at the Taul Funeral Home Chapel in Mt. Sterling with Rev. Scott Barnes officiating and burial following in the Lovely & Amburgey Cemetery.  Friends may visit Friday from 11 am - 1 pm at the Taul Funeral Home in Mt. Sterling.  Pallbearers will be Weston Fugate, Harley Bush, D J Conway, Dylan Conway, Mack Haddix and Sheldon Haddix.
