Oneida H. Ratliff, 95, of Mt. Sterling passed away December 25, 2019 at Baptist Health Hospital Lexington, KY. She was born June 12, 1924 to the late Arnie and Viola Ralls Hurst. She retired as a finance officer from the Blue Grass Army Depot. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Montgomery County Council for the Arts, Montgomery County Historical Society, Montgomery County Homemakers, American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, Daughters of the American Revolution, Colonial Daughters of the 17th Century and was an avid reader.

She is survived by two daughters, Carolyn Krist (Gordon) of Paris, KY and Phyllis Stewart (Jack) of Palm Desert, CA; two grandchildren, Kelann Stewart and Jay Stewart; four great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Wilburn Ratliff and  one brother, Leonard Hurst.

Funeral service will be held 11 AM, Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Eric Patterson officiating with burial following at Machpelah Cemetery. Visitation will be held 5-8 PM, Monday, December 30, 2019 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel. Pallbearers will be John Mahler, Brian Mahler, Jay Stewart, Donald McWhorter, Charles McWhorter and Billy Willoughby. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Building Fund First United Methodist Church, 846 Grassy Lick Road, Mt. Sterling, KY 40353.
