Reverend Orville Earl Easterling, 79, of Mt. Sterling passed away Monday, July 27, 2020 at his residence. He was born April 8, 1941 to the late Rev. Ernest and Dolly Pennington Easterling in Montgomery, West Virginia. He was called to ministry at age 16, a graduate of International Seminary, Orlando Florida and ordained Minister Church of God, Anderson Indiana. He pastored 9 churches in Kentucky, West Virginia, Tennessee Ohio and North Carolina, a revival and convention speaker, led 6 missions workcamps to Guatemala and chaplain Give Kids the World, Orlando Florida. He retired from ministry and worked at Disney World, Orland Florida. He was a loving and faithful husband of 56 years, loved brother, father and grandfather. He was a master carpenter, built 8 homes and led 4 churches through building campaigns, loved outdoor dramas and Christmas programs. He was an adventurous spirit who enjoyed traveling. He returned to his first ministry assignment of Mount Sterling to retire and attended the Camargo First Church of God.

He is survived by Wilma (Barrett) Easterling, spouse of Mount Sterling, Kentucky, Timothy & Donna Easterling, son & daughter in law of Charleston, West Virginia, Shawn & Michelle Easterling, son & daughter in law of Mansfield, Ohio; Jill (Easterling) Chase, daughter of Mount Sterling, Kentucky; grandchildren, Julia Easterling, Sarah (Ezra) (Easterling) Gottke-Slone, Taylor Easterling, Amber Easterling, Micah Chase, Hannah Chase; and Irene (Easterling) White, sister of Montgomery, West Virginia.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by Raymond Simmons, Earl Easterling, Elmer Easterling, Eugene Easterling, Rev. Chester Easterling, Adilene (Easterling) Pell; brothers & sister.

Funeral service will be held 1 PM, Wednesday, July 29, 2020 at Camargo First Church of God with Rev. Timothy Easterling and Shawn Easterling officiating, burial following at Machpelah Cemetery. Visitation will be held 11-1 PM, Wednesday, July 29, 2020 at Camargo First Church of God. Pallbearers will be Micah Chase, Taylor Easterling, Dan White, Kenny Wayne Barrett, Rev. Shawn Easterling, Steven Coyle and Timothy Easterling. Honorary pallbearers will be Julia Easterling, Sarah Gottke-Slone, Amber Easterling and Hannah Chase.
