Paul Averitt Allen, 74, of Winchester, KY passed away Thursday, April 3, 2025 at his residence.  He was born September 8, 1950 in Winchester to the late Donald Lisle and Susie Allen.  He attended First Baptist Church in Winchester and retired from Taul Funeral Homes in Mt. Sterling, KY.

He is survived by a son, Paul Allen, Jr. "E. Isreal" (Lisa Jackson) of Frankfort, KY; daughter, Andrea Long (Don) of Lexington, KY; brother, Joseph Allen (Shannon) of Winchester, KY; sister, Susie B. Hooten of Winchester, KY and Mollie Green of Winchester, KY; eight grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; a special friend, Dana Suber; his caregiver, Duwayne Taylor; and a host nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Elizabeth Green and Phyllis Blanton.

Funeral services will be held 1 PM, Wednesday, April 9, 2025 at First Baptist Church, 37 N. Highland St., Winchester, KY with Rev. Marvin King officiating.  Visitation will be held 12-1 PM, Wednesday, April 9, 2025 at First Baptist Church, 37 N. Highland St., Winchester, KY. Pallbearers will be Sammy Clay, Arthur Clay, Mike Evans, Bobby Cecil, Leonard Taylor and Dedric Lyle.
