Paul Brooks, 77, of Jeffersonville passed away Sunday, February 20, 2022 at St. Joseph Hospital Mt. Sterling.  He was born December 18, 1944 in Montgomery County, KY to the late Charles and Stella Woodard Brooks.  He was a farmer and worked in construction.

He is survived by his wife, Wanda Rowe Brooks of Jeffersonville, KY; two sons, Douglas Brooks (Andrea) and Michael Brooks (Sabrina) all of Menifee County, KY; four daughters, Paula Havens (Jeff) of Montgomery County, KY, Lisa Powell (Ronnie) of Bath County, KY, Rebecca Brooks of Montgomery County, KY and Crystal Vazquez-Perez (Elgar) of Montgomery County, KY; a brother, Lehmon Brooks of Montgomery County, KY; a sister, Louise Lawrence of Winchester, KY; fifteen grandchildren; and eleven grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a daughter, Donna Sue Brooks; four brothers, Charles Brooks Jr., Cecil Brooks, Avery Brooks and Benny Brooks; and a sister, Thelma Stephens.

A funeral service will be held 12 PM, Friday, February 25, 2022 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tommy Evans officiating, burial following at Brooks-Means Cemetery.  Visitation will be held 5-7 PM, Thursday, February 24, 2022 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel.  Pallbearers will be Darren Martin, Jonathan Havens, Brandon Havens, Nicholas Mendo, Ronnie Powell and Justin Brooks.  Honorary pallbearers will be Elgar Vazquez, Gary Brooks, Christian Garcia, Lehemon Clifford, and Preston Bentley.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made towards the funeral expenses through Taul Funeral Homes, 109 East Main Street, Mt.
