Pauline Peyton Wells, 92, of Maysville Road, Mt. Sterling, Kentucky passed away Friday, December 25, 2020 at the Windsor Care Center.  She was born in Montgomery County, Kentucky on March 14, 1928 the daughter of the late Gilbert and Fannie Moore Peyton.  She was a homemaker, farmer and member of the Spring Street Baptist Church.  She was the widow of William Harold Wells.

She is survived by two daughters, Phyllis Stephens (Charlie) of Mt. Sterling and Linda Herald (Gary) of Jackson, KY; six grandchildren, Kristy Stephens Brown, David Wayne Stephens, Michael Wiiloughby, Daryl Willoughby, Rodney Willoughby and Stacey Wells; seventeen great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Robert Harold Wells; a sister, Betty Murphy; and a great grandchild, Thomas Jay Brown.

Funeral services will be at 1 PM, Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at the Taul Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. William "Hoss" Prater officiating and burial following in the Machpelah Cemetery.  Friends may visit Wednesday at the Taul Funeral Home from 12 Noon - 1 pm.  Pallbearers will be Tanner Sorrell, Tyler Brown, Cooper Brown, Rodney Willoughby, William Willoughby and Darrell Willoughby.
