Pearl R. Ferguson, 91, of Means passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at St. Joseph Hospital Lexington. She was born May 5, 1933 in Perry County, KY to the late Oakley and Gladys Parker Brashear. She was a member of Mudlick Church of God and retired from Cowan Manufacturing.
She is survived by her sons, Billy Ferguson of Means, KY, Jim Ferguson (Deb) of Ada, OH, Jack Ferguson (Della) of Mt. Sterling, KY, Ken Ferguson (Linda) of Means, KY and Bobby Ferguson of Means, KY; sister, Margaret Manns of Bath County, KY; fourteen grandchildren, thirty-three great-grandchildren; and twenty-three great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Ferguson; daughter, Sandra Ferguson; son, Paul Ferguson; brothers, Adrian Brashear, Virdis Brashear, Harlan Brashear, Olan Brashear, Swanson Brashear, Fred Brashear and Oakley Brashear Jr.; sister, Barbara Crouch; three grandsons; two granddaughters; and one great-grandson.
Funeral services will be held 1 PM, Monday, July 8, 2024 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel Mt. Sterling with Mark Caldwell officiating, burial following at Ferguson Cemetery Means. Visitation will be held 11 AM-1 PM, Monday, July 8, 2024 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel Mt. Sterling. Pallbearers will be Grandsons.
