Peggy Lou Calvert, 82, of Sharpsburg passed away Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at her residence.  She was born March 31, 1941 in Bath County, KY to the late Omar Razor and Dorothy Whitton Means.  She was a member of Bethel Christian Church and retired from Hobart Manufacturing.

She is survived by a daughter, Gwen Hisel of Lexington, KY; a sister, Joanne Cook of Bethel, KY; a grandchild, Nathan Calvert; and a great-grandchild, Hayden Staton.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Calvert; a son, Gary Wade Calvert; brother, Fred Razor; and two grandchildren, Natalie Calvert and Madison Calvert.

Funeral services will be held 1 PM, Monday, August 21, 2023 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Steve McGuire officiating, burial following at Longview Cemetery.  Visitation will be held 12 PM-1 PM, Monday, August 21, 2023 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel.  Pallbearers will be Nathan Calvert, Daran Razor, Chris Cook, Gary Copher and Jeffery Cathings.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Claire Hospice, 222 Medical Circle, Morehead, KY 40351 or your choice of charities.
