Phillip Douglas Richards, 64, of Mt. Sterling passed away Monday, December 14, 2020 at St. Joseph East Lexington.  He was born May 3, 1956 to the late Oscar Allen and Madge Lee Manley Richards.  He was a member of Christian Assembly of God.

He is survived by four sisters, Mary Lynn Richards of Mt. Sterling, KY, Betty Ann Toy (Ralph) of Owingsville, KY, Ruby Loretta Rice of Bourbon County, KY and Julia Florence Nikitas (Thomas) of Oneida, FL.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two sisters, Bessie Mae Richards and Dorothy Jean Richards.

A funeral service will be held 1 PM, Friday, December 18, 2020 at Christian Assembly of God with Rev. Scott Barnes officiating, burial following at Crown Hill Cemetery.  Visitation will be held 12-1 PM, Friday, December 18, 2020 at Christian Assembly of God.  Pallbearers will be Marcus Richards, Randolph Toy, Tyron Lynn, Anthony Rice, Dwayne Rice and Mike Richards.  Honorary pallbearers will be Steve Richards and Yolanda Richards. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Christian Assembly of God, 1834 Owingsville Road, Mt. Sterling, KY 40353.
