In loving memory of Phyllis Jane Windbigler, 72, born April 23, 1951 in Albion, IL to Doris and Ralph Green.  Phyllis passed away Sunday, November 12, 2023 at her home after a long battle with Breast Cancer.  She was happily married to Larry D. Windbigler of Galion, OH from October 25, 1969 until present.  Phyllis and Larry resided in and raised their family in Galion, OH.  When she retired in 2016, they then moved to Sharpsburg, KY.  Phyllis spent most of her career in retail, mainly at Fashion Bug and then finished her career at First Federal Bank of Ohio in Galion.

Phyllis will be most remembered for her helpful attitude for others, her infectious sense of humor and the joy she had spending time with all of her family.  She enjoyed sightseeing and going for rides, crocheting and crafting and most of all shopping for gifts for birthdays and Christmas for those she loved.  Not mention the joy she got out of being a background actress with family in a movie filmed locally, she didn't let the fame go to her head.

Phyllis is survived by her loving husband Larry Windbigler of Sharpsburg, KY for 54 great and memorable years; her daughter, Kandra Kegley and husband, Keith of Sharpsburg, KY; son, Scott Windbigler and wife, Catherine of West Lake, OH; granddaughters, Haley Martinez and husband, Ricardo of Lexington, KY and Taylor Kegley of Sharpsburg, KY; great grandson, Atticus Martinez and grandson number 2, Ezra Martinez, soon to make his appearance.  She is also survived by sister, Pheba Cass and husband, Randy of Galion, OH; brother, Ken Green and wife, Nancy of Galion, OH.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Doris and Ralph Green of Galion, OH.

Funeral services will be held 1 PM, Thursday, November 16, 2023 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Grant Cannoy officiating, burial following at Crown Hill Cemetery.  Visitation will be held 12-1 PM, Thursday, November 16, 2023 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel.  Pallbearers will be Ken Green, Randy Cass, Jared Cass, Brett, Green, Keith Kegley and Ricardo Martinez.  In lieu of flowers, donation can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
