Randall Wright, 69, of Frenchburg passed away Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at his residence after a brief illness.  He was born January 14, 1954 in Letcher County, KY to Ella Bentley Little and the late Melvin Wright.   He attended Church of Christ in Owingsville, he worked as a Coalminer and a Farmer.  He was also a member of UMWA.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Jennifer Denise Johnson Wright of Frenchburg, KY; mother, Ella Bentley Little of Jonancy, KY; sons, Randall Keith Wright (Heather) of Dorton, KY, Michael Shannon Johnson of Mt. Sterling, KY, Michael Rubin Johnson-Wright of Richmond, KY; daughters, Sarah Denise McPeek (James Childers) of Rutledge, TN and Ashley Brooke Ray (Casey) of Frenchburg, KY; brothers, Clayton Wright (Heather) of Jonancy, KY, Jody Mike Wright (Trula) Louisa, KY and Terry Wright (Diane) of Jonancy, KY; sister, Sharon Damron of Jonancy, KY; grandchildren, Maranda Wright, Rachel Trivette (Tyler), Jacob Wright, Peyton Johnson, Adalyn Ray and Everly Ray; and great grandchildren, Sophia Trivette and Olivia Trivette.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Katelynn Michelle Johnson-Wright; and brothers, Clyde Wright, Ray Wright and Larry Dean Wright; and a sister, Gequetta Newsome.

Funeral services will be held 1 PM, Friday, November 10, 2023 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel Frenchburg with Bro. Alton Norman officiating, with burial following at Wright Family Farm Cemetery.  Visitation will be held 11 AM- 1 PM, Friday, November 10, 2023 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel Frenchburg.  Pallbearers will be Keith Wright, Rick Crain, Jarrod Hylton, Casey Ray, James Childers and Dan Wells. Honorary pallbearers will be Shannon Johnson, Kenny Wright, Mikey Wright, Ronnie Moore and Mark Lawson.
