Obituary

Randy Colvin, 66, of Mt. Sterling passed away Thursday, February 6, 2025 at his residence surrounded by his family.  He was born April 14, 1958 in Ft. Thomas, KY to the late James Lee and Alta Jacob Colvin.  He attended Freedom Church and was a car salesman at Oldfield Used Cars for over 30 years.  He loved hunting, all things cars, traveling, metal detecting, and most importantly family.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Cherie Colvin of Mt. Sterling, KY; son, Aaron Colvin (Porsche) of Mt. Sterling, KY; daughter, Randa (Chase) Centers of Mt. Sterling, KY; sisters, Millie Delk (Tim) of California, KY and Lisa Stout (Clint) of Falmouth, KY; Poppy to Canon Kase Centers, Emery Kate Centers, Rory Lane Centers, and expected soon, Wayne Owen Colvin; sisters-in-law, Marcia Colvin, Sharon (Tim) Thacker and Tammy (Jr) Stockdale ; mother-in-law, Virginia Puckett; brother-n-law, Dennis Crawford; nieces and nephews, Lauryn Stout, Jordyn Stout, Cody Delk (Taylor), Carson Delk, Brooke Lengle (Scott), Lindsey Fieger (Jerry); great nieces and nephews, Ella Lengle, Anna Lengle, Everett Lengle, Luke Fieger, Charlee Fieger, Carter Petrey, Levi Colvin, Austyn Colvin, Audrey Delk and Beau Delk; and a host of friends.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brother, Roger Colvin; sister, Pam Colvin Crawford, father-in-law, William (Wap) Puckett; nephew, Ryan Colvin and niece, Alicia Colvin.

Funeral services will be held 1 PM, Monday, February 10, 2025 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. V.P. Palmer officiating and speakers will be Tim Maness and Cody Delk, burial following at Machpelah Cemetery.  Visitation will be 2-5 PM, Sunday, February 9, 2025 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel.  Pallbearers will be Aaron Colvin, Chase Centers, Tim Thacker, Cameron Covey, Carter Petrey and Carson Delk.  Honorary pallbearers will be Stanley Stockdale, Jr., Clint Stout, Tim Delk, Scott Lengle, Jerry Fieger, Cody Delk, Levi Colvin and Doug Dunaway.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Pam Colvin Crawford Memorial Scholarship Fund, PO Box 88, Falmouth, KY 41040 or Montgomery County Relay for Life/Team Traditional Bank.
