Randy Gordon Daugherty, 80, of Frenchburg, KY passed away Monday, June 1, 2026 at Menifee Meadows. He was born November 22, 1945 in Mt. Sterling, KY to the late Raymond and Lettie Amburgey Daugherty. He attended Frenchburg Baptist Church, retired from Boneal Manufacturing and was an Airforce Veteran. He loved his family and enjoyed gardening and landscaping.

He is survived by his wife, Sara Daugherty of Frenchburg, KY; a daughter, Melissa Back (Scotty) of Frenchburg, KY; a brother, Wayne Daugherty (Pam) of Means, KY; a sister, Sandra Chambers of Means, KY; and a grandson, Evan Back.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Ray Daugherty, Walter Daugherty and Jack Daugherty.

Funeral services will be held 1 PM, Monday, June 8, 2026 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel in Mt. Sterling with Rev. Wayne Myers officiating, burial following at Gibbs Cemetery. Visitation will be held 11 AM-1 PM, Monday, June 8, 2026 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel in Mt. Sterling, KY. Pallbearers will be Scotty Back, Joseph Back, Joseph Scott Back, Dan Wells, Evan Back and Kevin Lane. Honorary pallbearers will be Chad Chambers, Wayne Daugherty, Casey Ray and Silas Raney.
