Ray Wilson, 94, of Montgomery County, KY died Thursday, October 5, 2023 at his special caregiver's home.

Born November 12, 1928 in Bourbon, he was the son the late Bishop and Effie Sargent Wilson.  Ray graduated from North Middletown High School.  He was a retired farmer which he enjoyed.  He dearly loved all of his family.

Survivors include his children; Victor Wilson of Mt. Sterling, KY and Eric Wilson of Frankfort, KY and Ravenna Wasson of Montgomery County, KY; brothers, John Wesley (JW)  Wilson (Lucy) of Sharpsburg, KY and David Wayne Wilson (Patsy) of Winchester, KY; sister, Helen Reynolds of Owingsville, KY; eight grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and a special caregiver, Regina Wall.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Faye Wilson; son, Michael Wilson; a grandson, Justin Endicott; and a daughter-in-law, Betty Sue Wilson.

Funeral services will be 12 PM, Monday, October 9, 2023 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jessie Kline officiating, burial following at Machpelah Cemetery. Visitation will be held 10-12 PM, Monday, October 9, 2023 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel.  Pallbearers will be Wesly Davis, Toran Oldham, Reece Stickler, Cameron Webb and Morgan Damore.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests donation be made toward the funeral expenses at Taul Funeral Home, 109 East Main Street, Mt. Sterling, KY 40353.
