Raymond E. "Butch" Lee, 79, of Mt. Sterling passed away Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at St. Joseph Hospital Mt. Sterling.  He was born September 17, 1941 to the late Thomas R. Lee and Louise McIlvain. He was a member of Christian Assembly of God and a retired farmer.

He is survived by his wife, Rosemary Hughes Lee of Mt. Sterling, KY; two sons, Ken Lee (Heather) of Mt. Sterling, KY and Kevin Lee "Bud" of Mt. Sterling, KY; one brother, Tommy Lee, Jr. (Nelda) of Danville, KY; one sister, Ailene Ginter (Tommy) of Louisville, KY; and five grandchildren, Lexy Nickell, Keith Lee, Kendra Lee, Kenzie Lee and Ken Lee, Jr.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, David Lee and Kenneth Lee; and two sisters, Carolyn Lee and Betty Ann Lee.

Funeral services will be held 1 PM, Friday, August 27, 2021 at Christian Assembly of God Mt. Sterling, KY with Bro. Scott Barnes and Rev. David Campbell officiating, burial following at Machpelah Cemetery.  Visitation will be held 11 AM- 1PM, Friday, August 27, 2021 at Christian Assembly of God.  Pallbearers will be Greg Martin, Vernon Dunn, Hobart Owens, Bobby Arnett, Danny Brewer, Tony Polsgrove, Barry Ewen, David Lee and Kyle Lee.  Honorary pallbearers will be Brandon Ginter, Brian Ginter, Brent Ginter, Darrell Hughes, Daymon Hughes, Scott Wells, Bill Patrick and Willard Anderson. In lieu of flowers, donations can made to Christian Assembly of God, 1834 Owingsville Road, Mt. Sterling, KY 40353.  Taul Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements.
