Rebecca Sue Fawns Finch, a member of the Pentecostal faith, and Montgomery County native, passed away peacefully in her home on November 25, 2021. Becky was the wife of Tom Finch for 50 years and the daughter to the late Mary and Dale Fawns. She worked with Montgomery County Parks & Rec and brought many wonderful programs to Montgomery County. In addition, Becky counselled many juveniles in the care of the state of Kentucky and took pride in changing their outlook on life.
She loved her family more than anything and always had the best words of advice. Becky's family includes a brother, Philip Fawns (Deana), sister Molly Tout (Eric). Many nieces and nephews including Marie Holland, Brad Toy, Tammy Fawns, Tennille Caldwell, Stephanie Collins, Johnene "Nina" Sallee, Kelley Fawns. Great nieces and nephews, Colby Toy, Michael Fawns, Kayla Parks (Isaac), Duncan Toy (Tori) and Brandon Frazier and great great nieces and nephews, Harper, Karissa, Brooklyn, Audrie, Trent and Tucker, Kobe and Ava White and Haley Frazier. A special great niece, Cassie Haynes-White (Roger) as well as, very special family and friends Debbie Holt, Denise Blackburn, Jody Oney, Mable Sue Wiler, Hazel Tufano and all of her wonderful nursing family at Fresenius Dialysis Clinic.
In addition to her parents, Becky is preceded in death by her nephew Dale L. Fawns and favorite uncle, Ed Kearns.
Pallbearers include Brad Toy, Damon Haynes, Duncan Toy, Kendall "Mort" Little, Paul Holland and Roger White. Honorary pallbearers will be Jessie Denton, Beverly Robinson, Jessica Jones, Shelly Slagle, Eric Benningfield, Casey Crouch, Ashley Donathan, Mark Campbell, Kristy Horton and Ricky Price.
Visitation will be held 5-8 PM, Monday, November 29, 2021 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be held 1 PM, Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Rick May officiating, burial following at Machpelah Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Kidney Foundation.
