Rickey Lee Penix, 67, of Frenchburg, KY passed away Sunday, October 12, 2025 at his residence.  He was born March 6, 1958 in West Liberty, KY to the late Virgil Lee and Ruby Helen Penix. He was a retired Car Salesman for Don Jacobs, a Veteran of the US Navy and he liked to deep sea fish and hunt.

He is survived by a wife, Tina Marie Richardson Penix; a brother, Michael Penix of TN; grandchildren, Carter Vanzant, Bella Penix and Colt Penix; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a son, Todd Penix; a daughter, Nicole Vanzant; brother, Jerry Penix; and sisters, Sandy Vaccariello and Candy Stafford.

A graveside service will be held 11 AM, Saturday, October 18, 2025 at Lovely & Amburgey Cemetery with Deacon Dan Connell officiating.  Pallbearers will be Rick Penix, Carter Vanzant, Jeremy Cornett, Dewayne Penix, Lenny McGuire and J.C. Smith.
