Ricky Price, 64, of Village Drive, Mt. Sterling, Kentucky passed away Thursday, October 13, 2022 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington.  He was born in Nicholas County, Kentucky on January 3, 1958 the son of the late Bobby and Phyllis Gaunce Price.  He was a heavy machine operator and had been employed by Haynes Trucking since 1984.

He is survived by his wife, Edith Young Price of Mt. Sterling; two sons, Kyle (Tracey) Price of Paris, KY and Chad Price of Carlisle, KY; a brother, Jimmy (Dana) Price of Carlisle, KY; a sister, Nyiri (Jon) Stacy of Carlisle, KY; a special nephew, T. J. Young  and special friends, Damon and Jamie Haynes and Cassie and Roger White and daughter, Karissa of Mt. Sterling; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren also survive.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a two step daughters, Maggie Endicott and Betty Humphrey.

Funeral services will be at 7 PM, Tuesday, October 18, 2022 at the Taul Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Scott Barnes officiating.  Friends may visit from 5 pm - 7 pm on Tuesday at the Taul Funeral Home.
