Formerly of Mt. Sterling, KY Rita was born on September 5, 1961 to Hubert and Betty Lou (Orender) Bowling in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.  Rita was a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University who loved spending time with treasured friends and loving family, travel, fashion and her beloved cats.  She was a long time and devoted University of Kentucky basketball fan.

Left to mourn her loss is her loving mother, Betty Lou; devoted sister, Arleen Vice; treasured niece, Nikki Williams (Joby) of Lexington, KY; and nephews, Aaron Vice of Lexington, KY and Will Vice (Nicole) of Lexington, KY; great-nephew, Carter Williams; and great-niece, Ava Kate Vice.

Rita is preceded in death by her father, Hubert.

A Celebration of Life will be held 2 PM, Sunday, May 4, 2025 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel with Randy Ware officiating.  Visitation will be held 1 PM-2 PM, Sunday, May 4, 2025 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel.
