Robert Clay Baker, Sr., 63, of Mt. Sterling passed away January 29, 2026 at St. Joseph Hospital Lexington, KY.  He was born November 15, 1962 in Mt. Sterling, KY to John Clay and Lorraine Baker.  He retired from Toyota Manufacturing of Georgetown and enjoyed golf, fishing and pool.  He had a great love of family and gatherings of family and friends. He also had a special love and respect of several golf buddies.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Debra Baker of Mt. Sterling, KY; son, Robert Clay Baker, Jr. (Rachel); daughters, Jennifer Michelle Baker (Kurth) and Tiffany Renee Puckett (Herbert); grandchildren, Emily Stamper (Bryan), Cassandra Setters, Riley Setters, Brayden Spencer, Kiarra Roland, Avayla Roland and River Baker; great grandchildren, Anson Stamper, Paisley Hardy, Journey Setters, Clay Hardy, Harmony Setters and Connor Johnson; a brother, Jeff Baker (Janine); sisters, Sheila Baker and Debbie Von Hoven; several nieces and nephews, Lorri Craver (Joey), Geramie Ingram (Courtney), Brittney Bentley (Matt) and Michael Roland.

He is preceded in death by a sister, Tina Michelle Baker; and uncles, Crockett Scott, Carl Scott, Charles Scott and Ora June Scott.
