Robert Stewart Byrd, Jr., 61, passed away Monday, April 6, 2020 at St. Joseph Hospital Lexington. He was born July 30, 1958 to Edna Mae Smith Byrd and the Late Robert S. Byrd, Sr. He was a retired laborer for Local 189.

He is survived by his wife, Sandy Byrd of Lexington, KY; one step son, Timothy Barker; three daughters, Natasha Oertli (Edgar Lopez) of Georgetown, KY, Tonya Byrd (Luis Perez) of Lexington, KY, Tiffany Crouch (David) of Owingsville, KY; two step daughters, Amanda Barker of Lexington, KY and Elena Weiler of Cincinnati, OH; one brother, Jimmy Byrd of Sharkey, KY; two sisters, Esther Nickell of Frenchburg, KY and Bonnie Brashears (Kenny) of Frenchburg, KY; ten grandchildren; 9 step grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by four brothers, Jerry Byrd, Rocky Byrd, David Byrd and Robin Byrd; two sisters, Barbara Byrd Fields and Rebecca Ann.

A private family graveside service will be held 1 PM, Monday, April 13, 2020 at Byrd Cemetery with Bro. Tommy Evans officiating.
