Robert P. "Bob" Combs, 76, of Mt. Sterling passed away Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at his residence.  He was born November 21, 1945 to the late Carlos and Clora Amburgey Combs.  He was the owner of Sterling Wholesale and a member of Gateway Christian Church.

He is survived by his wife, Patty Smith Combs of Mt. Sterling, KY; son, David Combs of Mt. Sterling, KY; four grandchildren, Caroline Martin, Bradley Combs, Emma Combs and Sophia Combs; and three great grandchildren, Tate Martin, Tessa Martin and Grady Martin.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a son, Kevin Combs; two brothers, Allen C. Combs and Albert B. Combs; and a sister, Jeanette Horton.

A memorial service will be held 2 PM, Saturday, August 6, 2022 at Gateway Christian Church with Pastor Glenn Emery and Pastor Bill Kilgore officiating.  Visitation will be held 12-2 PM, Saturday, August 6, 2022 at Gateway Christian Church.  Taul Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements.
