Robert Eugene Groves,70, of Denniston, KY passed away on Saturday October 19, 2024. He was born on November 10,1953 in Booneville, KY to the late Paul Groves and Betty Isaacs Groves. He was a Christian and attended Daysprings Church in Frenchburg, KY. He was a retired police  detective for the Pikeville Police Dept. in Pikeville, KY. He enjoyed painting and spending time with his family. He was a United States Army Veteran.

He is survived by his daughter Brittany Groves (Dustin Hamilton) of Pikeville, KY; one sister Anita Fish Gabbard of Orlando, FL; also he is survived by two grandchildren Robert Jackson Groves and Kyree Elizabeth Zienkiewicz.

A Memorial service will be held at a later date.
