Robert Allen Martin, 71, of Mt. Sterling passed away November 14, 2025 at St. Joseph Hospital Lexington.  He was born March 11, 1954 in Montgomery County, KY to the late Nelson and Rosie Mae Hutchison Martin.  He attended Emmanuel Baptist Church, Mt. Sterling and was the Transportation Department Director for Montgomery County Board of Education.  He loved to spend time with his family and enjoyed his model trains.

He is survived by his daughter, Robin Nicole Coldiron (Bradley) of Mt. Sterling, KY; grandchildren, Kara Cloe Esteppe, Jimmy Coldiron and Johnny Coldiron; and a great grandchild, Ivory Ann Coldiron.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Judith Reynolds Martin; a brother, Roy Clay Martin; and a sister, Martha Lou Martin Bramel.

Funeral services will be held 12 PM, Thursday, November 20, 2025 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. David Campbell officiating, burial following at Machpelah Cemetery.  Visitation will be held 11-12 PM, Thursday, November 20, 2025 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel.  Pallbearers will be Jamie Bramel, Tom Martin, Tyler Boyd, Tim Alfrey, Brad Coldiron and Stephen Esteppe.  Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Coldiron, Johnny Coldiron and Jacob Ison.  In lieu of flowers, donation can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
