Robert Tackett, 87, of Jeffersonville passed away Monday, September 30, 2024 at his residence.  He was born September 8, 1937 in Menifee County, KY to the late Felix and Gladys White Tackett.  He was a self-employed Auto Body Repair and enjoyed hunting.  He attended Hope Church of God.

He is survived by his wife, Ester Rogers Tackett of Jeffersonville, KY; son, Gerald Ingram (Judy) of Jeffersonville, KY; brothers, Earnie R. Tackett (Sheila) of Menifee County, KY, Howard Tackett (Alma) of Indiana and Bruce Tackett of Ohio; sisters, Juanita Cornwell (Arlie) of Indiana, Diana Bowman (Junior) of Rockcastle County, KY, Pamela Ballard (Walter) of Menifee County, KY, Clara F. George (Oscar) of Jeffersonville, KY, Brenda George (Morris) of Jeffersonville, KY, Truly B. Mills (Burl) of Indiana, Debbie J. Ferguson (Jim) of Ohio, Etta Mae Cleamons (Elbert) of Ohio and Alta Lou Cleamons (Albert) of Ohio; grandchildren, Geramie Ingram (Courtney), Ryan Williams (Allie), Jeffrey Kidd (Jessica), Tosha Hay (Brandon) and Jake Williams (Rachel); and seven great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a daughter, Sheila Kiser; a grandson, Jason Williams; brothers, Arbit Tackett, Harlan Tackett, Estill Tackett, Felix Tacket, Jr. and Elwood Tackett; and a sister, Lorene Sparks.

Funeral services will be held 1 PM, Friday, October 4, 2024 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Glenn Sizemore, burial following at Lovely Amburgey Cemetery.  Visitation will be held 11 AM-1 PM, Friday, October 4, 2024 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel.  Pallbearers will be Gerald Ingram, Geramie Ingram, Ryan Williams, Jeffrey Kidd, Brandon Hay and Jake Williams. Honorary pallbearers will be Earnie Tackett, Bruce Tackett and Howard Tackett.
