Robert Jack Tipton, 64, of Mt. Sterling passed away Sunday, May 1, 2022 at his residence.  He was born October 13, 1957 to the late Robert Jack Tipton, Sr. and Josephine Howell.  He was a member of Freedom Church, worship leader for over 30 years and retired from LBX Co. as a Marketing Manager and from sales at Dromone.

He is survived by his wife, Gwynne Tipton of Mt. Sterling, KY; a son, William Bryan Tipton (Emily) of Winchester, KY; a daughter, Sara Tipton Joseph (Timothy) of Mt. Sterling, KY; two sisters, Martha Scott Tipton of Lexington, KY and Bess Tipton Fuller (Clyde) of Mt. Sterling, KY; and four grandchildren, Ava Elaine Joseph, Mary Porter Tipton, Elias Jack Tipton and Carlisle Kira Tipton.

Funeral services will be held 10 AM, Thursday, May 5, 2022 at Freedom Church with Rev. V.P. Palmer officiating, burial following at Machpelah Cemetery.  Visitation will be held 5-7 PM, Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at Freedom Church.  Pallbearers will be Tim Hodgson, Tom Watts, Rob Wood, Rob Caudill, Tyler Baskey and Randy Stull.  Honorary pallbearers will be Rev. James Davis, Clyde Fuller, Dr. William H. Wells, Elias Jack Tipton, Mike Baskey, Tom Turner, Ron Turner and Jared Altobello.  In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Samaritans Purse, PO Box 3000, Boone, NC 28607-3000 or Tunnels to Towers, 2361 Hylan Boulevard, Staten Island, NY 10306.  Taul Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements.
