Robert Harold "Bobby" Wells, 74, of Richmond passed away Friday, September 11, 2020 at Berea Health and Rehabilitation.  He was born October 3, 1945 to Lillian Pauline Peyton Wells and the late William "Billy" Harold Wells.  He was a member of Spring Street Baptist Church, he retired after 22 years from Rockwell as a maintenance foreman and he worked for Leggett and Platt as a supervisor for 16 years. He loved to hunt, target shoot, was a avid outdoorsman and loved spending time with his grandkids.  He served in the Army from 1969-1975.

He is survived by his mother, Lillian Pauline Peyton Wells of Mt. Sterling, KY; one daughter, Stacy Dawn Wells (Mike Durbin) of Richmond, KY; two sisters, Phyllis Stephens (Charlie) of Mt. Sterling, KY and Linda Herald (Gary) of Jackson, KY; five grandchildren, Cody Shane of Mt. Sterling, KY,  Joshua Taylor of Lexington, KY, Mikah Elizabeth Faye of Richmond, Ava Caroline of Richmond, KY and Harper Bess of Richmond; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his father, William Harold Wells, he is preceded in death by two wives, Ida Faye Wells of 24 years and Mary Phillis Wells of 14 years; maternal grandparents, Gilbert and Fannie Peyton; and paternal grandparents, Edgar and Laura Wells.

A funeral service will be held 1 PM, Monday, September 14, 2020 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel with burial following at Machpelah Cemetery. Visitation will be held 11-1 PM, Monday, September 14, 2020 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel.  Pallbearers will be Cody Martin, Mike Durbin, Josh LeCompte, Charlie Stephens, Darrell Willoughby, Rodney Willoughby and Mikey Willoughby.
