Roscoe Bowling, 82, of Mt. Sterling passed away Thursday, September 14, 2023 at Tri Star Centennial Hospital.  He was born November 13, 1940 in Manchester, KY to the late Abraham and Mallie Bowling.  He attended Todds Road Grace Church Lexington.

He was survived by son, Kevin Bowling (Robin) of Mt. Juliet, TN; and a daughter, Vickie Bowling of Lexington, KY.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Collins Bowling; a son, Edward Alan Bowling; brothers, Hubert Bowling, Shelby Bowling and Baxter Bowling; sisters, Lattie Sams and Kathleen Hammons; and a grandchild, Brandon Ross Prater.

Funeral services will be held 1 PM, Friday, September 22, 2023 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Todd Nibert officiating, burial following at Machpelah Cemetery.  Visitation will be held 4-7 PM, Thursday, September 21, 2023 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
