Ruby Morris, 82, of Ellen Avenue, Mt. Sterling, Kentucky passed away Thursday, June 4, 2020 at the Windsor Care Center.  She was born in Glomawr, Kentucky on October 28, 1937 the daughter of the late Mary Vaughn Conley and Hobart Pugh.  She was a retired black lung claims processor and a member of the Dan Ridge Church of Christ. She is the widow of Lavelle Morris, Jr.

She is survived by one son Lavelle (Ann) Morris, III of Georgetown, KY; a daughter, Navona (Eric) Jude of Mt. Sterling; two brothers, Douglas (Joann) Pugh of Winchester, KY and Randall (Sarah) Pugh of Beaver Dam, KY; two sisters, Judy Murphy of Wellington, KY and Stella Faye (Fred) Bishop of Borden, IN; nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren also survive.

Graveside services will be 11 am, Monday, June 8, 2020 at the Back Cemetery with Rev. Paul Keeton officiating.  Pallbearers will be Kyle Murphy, Lavelle Morris, III, Eric Jude, Justin Jude, Kennedy Morris, Riley Morris, Amber Hall and Alivia Morris.  Honoray pallbearer will be Vaylen Jude.  In lieu of flowers donations suggested to the Back Cemetery Fund.  Taul Funeral Homes in charge of arrangements.
