Ruth Ann Centers Ballard, 74, of Mt. Sterling passed away Monday, December 16, 2019 at her residence. She was born June 10, 1945 to the late John and Ellis Elkins Centers. She worked at Cowden's, accounts payable and interior designer for Ballard's Construction and a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Floyd Ballard, Jr; two sons, Joseph Ballard (Suzanne Becraft) of Mt. Sterling, KY and Brian Ballard (Stacey) of Mt. Sterling, KY; three brothers, Bill Centers of Mt. Sterling, KY, Mark David Centers of Florida and Mike Centers of Mt. Sterling, KY; two sisters, Virginia Lemaster (Allen) of Mt. Sterling, KY and Janet Young of Menifee County, KY; five grandchildren Kyler Ballard, Blake Ballard, Tanner Ockerman, Spencer Ballard and Blaine Ballard; two great grandchildren; and a special friend, Bobbie Sue Arnold (Lacy) of Mt. Sterling, KY.

Funeral services will be held 1 PM, Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at Taul Funeral Home with Rev. Scott Barnes officiating and burial following at Machpelah Cemetery. Visitation will be held 11-1 PM, Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at Taul Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Spencer Ballard, Blaine Ballard, Kyler Ballard, Tanner Ockerman, Clarence Claypoole, Freddie Sorrell, Andrew Sorrell, and Jonathan Ballard. Honorary pallbearers will be Jack and Frances McDaniel, Glenn Foley, Allen LeMaster, Lacy Arnold and Bobbie Sue Arnold.
