Samuel E. Poore, 43, of Mt. Sterling passed away Friday, May 27, 2022 at St. Joseph Mt. Sterling.  He was born January 15, 1979 to Brenda Martin and the late Danny Conkright.  He worked at Cabinet Works in Mt. Sterling.

He is survived by his mother, Brenda Martin of Mt. Sterling, KY; three sons, Austin Rust of Mt. Sterling, KY, Dalton Poore and Logan Poore both of Morehead, KY; a brother, David Poore of Mt. Sterling, KY; a sister, Angela McCarty of Mt. Sterling, KY; and two grandchildren.

In addition to his father, Danny Conkright, he is preceded in death by a brother, Michael Poore.

Graveside service will be held 11 AM, Friday, June 3, 2022 at Grassy Lick Cemetery with Jesse Kline officiating.  Pallbearers will be Ronnie Martin, Johnathon Hayes, Jerry Wayne Conkright,  Steven Conkright, David Lester and Josh Clemons.
