Sarah K. Salisbury, 89, of Mt. Sterling passed away Sunday, June 16, 2024 at St. Joseph Hospital Lexington, KY.  She was born June 21, 1934 in Mt. Sterling, KY to the late Briney Kline and Hattie Willoughby.  She was a member of United Methodist Church.  She was a retired Registered Nurse from Mary Chiles Hospital and Dr. Salisbury Office.  She worked at the Hospital Auxiliary as a Volunteer and spent her life taking care of others.

She is survived by her sons, William Salisbury of Mt. Sterling, KY, David P. Salisbury of Gloucester, VA and Claude Salisbury of Shawnee, OK; daughters, Evelyn Bowles (Terry) of Yorktown, VA and Jane Trommatter of Cockeysville, VA; eleven grandchildren; and twenty-four great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Robert J. Salisbury; daughter, Claudia Ramos; brothers, Elwood Kline and Henry L. Kline; and sisters, Louise Kline and Magalene Chandler.

Services will be held 12 PM, Wednesday, June 19, 2024 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jesse Kline officiating, burial following Machpelah Cemetery.  Visitation will held 11 AM-12 PM, Wednesday, June 19, 2024 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel.  Pallbearers will be Gram Salisbury, Dawson William, David Kline, Omar Prewitt, Whitten Salisbury and James Salisbury.
