Sharon Marie Hatton Sons, 69, of Mt. Sterling passed away Monday, February 15, 2021 at her residence.  She was born November 10, 1951 to Correne Roberts Hatton and the late Walter Hatton.  She was a member of Hope First Church of God and was a travel nurse.

She is survived by her husband, Donnie Sons, Sr. of Mt. Sterling, KY; one son, Donnie Son, Jr of Powell County; three sisters, Marcella McCarty (Terry) of Mt. Sterling, KY; Valerie Hatton of Mt. Sterling, KY and Charlene Brewer (Greg) of Stanton, KY; several grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.

In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by one son, Bradley Sons; and one brother, Walter J. Hatton.

A funeral service will be held 1 PM, Friday, February 19, 2021 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel with Steve McGuire and Roger McGuire officiating, burial following at McGuire Cemetery.  A visitation will be held 11-1 PM, Friday, February 19, 2021 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel.  Pallbearers will be Dallas Martin, David Sons, Terry McCarty, Jimmy Adams and Chris Rogers.
