Stella Sybil Yocum, 86, of Frenchburg passed away Wednesday, April 22, 2020 at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington. She was born July 19, 1933 to the late Nathan and Lear Evaline Peck Hale. She was a member of Church of God, she liked to cook at field day and Fish and Wildlife dinners.

She is survived by one son, Joseph "Jody" Yocum of Frenchburg, KY; two nephews, Steven Murphy of Frenchburg, KY and Jeffery Murphy (Jennifer) of Frenchburg, KY; and two nieces, Barbara Murphy of Frenchburg, KY and Joan Yocum Johnson (Danny) of Lexington, KY.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Lloyd Yocum; one daughter, Lillie Lavonne Yocum; four brothers; and two sisters.

A private family graveside service will be held at Egelston Cemetery with Pastor Alan Ratliff officiating. Pallbearers will be Jeffery Murphy, Steven Murphy and Chris Mays.
