Stephen K. Simpson, 56, of Jeffersonville passed away Friday, February 12, 2021 at his residence.  He was born January 18, 1965 to the late Carl and Lois Lawson Simpson. He was a member of Jeffersonville Assembly of God and a welder for Prime Contractor.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy Catherine King of Morehead, KY; two sons, James Steven Simpson of Morehead, KY and Eric McIntosh of Morehead, KY; three daughters, Trena Simpson of Mt. Sterling, KY, Tiffany Taborn of Owingsville, KY and Johnna Simpson of Morehead, KY; one brother, Dwight Simpson (Amy) of Winchester, KY; three sisters, June Ledo (John) of Archer Point, AK, Mari Thompson (Gary) of Phoenix, AZ and Linda Haney (Leroy) of Winchester, IN; and three grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one son, Tyler Simpson; and five brothers, Carl Simpson, Larry Simpson, Dan Simpson, James Simpson and Paul Simpson and his wife Rhonda.

A funeral service will be held 1 PM, Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel Frenchburg with burial following at Poplin Cemetery. Visitation will be held 12-1PM, Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel Frenchburg. Pallbearers will be Eric McIntosh, James Simpson, Nathan Simpson, Jerry Sons, Jacob Hudson and Brady Hudson.
