Susan Gaye Stevens Bowden, 65, of Mt. Sterling passed away Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at St. Joseph Mt. Sterling.  She was born August 24, 1958 to Mary Sue Cartmill Rogers and the late James Adrian Stevens, JR.  She attended Church of the Nazarene and was a retired Clerical Administrator.

In addition to her mother, Mary Sue Cartmill Rogers, she is survived by a brother, James Adrian Stevens III (Tammy) of St. Louis, MO; sister, Norita Hissong (Glenn) of Mt. Vernon, OH; and an aunt, Patsy Chaffins of Mt. Sterling, KY.

Funeral services will be held 1 PM, Monday, September 18, 2023 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Kohr officiating, burial following at Machpelah Cemetery.  Visitation will be held 12 PM- 1 PM, Monday, September 18, 2023 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel.  Pallbearers will be Glenn Hissong, Ben Chaffins, Christopher Miller, Josh Whitaker, Steven Smith and Derick Rogers.  In lieu of flowers, donation can be made to Church of the Nazarene, PO Box 843, Mt.
