Sylvia Doris Norfleet, 86, of Mt. Sterling passed away Thursday, April 1, 2021 at University of Kentucky Hospital in Lexington.  She was born May 17, 1934 to the late Tilford and Mary Welch Leach.  She retired from General Motors.

She is survived by four sons, Daniel Powers (Angie) of Cosby, TN, Tilford Powers (Dee) of West Alexandria, OH, Floyd Powers of New Lebanon, OH and Edward Medford (Sandy) of Knoxville, TN; one daughter, Sandra Johnson (Bennie) of Mt. Sterling, KY; one sister, Wanda Dailey of New Carlisle, OH; ten grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two daughters, Hazel Powers and Baby Powers; two brothers, Elmer Leach and Ralph Leach; four sisters, Hazel Leach, Gladys McHone, Virgie Moore and Janette Moore.

A graveside service will be held 2 PM, Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at Miami Valley Memory Gardens, 1639 East Lytle Five Points Road, Centerville, OH 45458. A private family visitation will be held.  Pallbearers will be sons and grandsons.
