Tamara Welch, 50, of Holt Avenue, Mt. Sterling passed away Sunday, September 6, 2020 at the St. Joseph-Mt. Sterling Hospital.  She was born in Fayette County, Kentucky on December 29, 1969 the daughter of the late Wayne and Mary Bruce Scott Welch.  She was an employee of Summit Polymers and a member of the Gateway Christian Church.

She is survived by a sister, Carma Welch of Mt. Sterling; an aunt, Betty (Jack) Rogers of Nicholasville, KY; two uncles, Russell (Roslind) Scott of Louisville, KY and Gary Scott of Nicholasville, KY; one great aunt, Ruth Conlee of Mt. Sterling; two uncles, Phillip (Barbara) Welch of Mt. Sterling and Milburn Welch of Hollywood, FL;  several cousins also survive.

Funeral services will be 1 PM, Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at the Taul Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bill Kilgore officiating and burial following in the Machpelah Cemetery.  Friends may visit Wednesday from 11 am - 1 pm at the Taul Funeral Home.  Pallbearers will be Steve Welch, Chris Gay,  Travis Welch, Jerry Burnham, Howard Hamilton, Joe McMillan, Richie Calvert and Mike Shrout.  Honorary pallbearers Booker T. George, Larry Griffin, John Koonts, Ray Bowles, Steve Calvert, James Parker and George and Imogene Updike.
