Thomas Glen Gilvin, 65, of Mt. Sterling passed away Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at Clark Regional Medical Center.  He was born May 19, 1956 to Ruth Turner Gilvin and the late Thomas Lee Gilvin. He was a member of Eastland First Church of God and retired from Nestle.

He is survived by his wife Carolyn Oakley Gilvin of Mt. Sterling, KY; two sons, Randy Gilvin (Kayla) of Owingsville, KY and Brian Gilvin (Monica) of Mt. Sterling, KY; two brothers, David Gilvin of Mt. Sterling, KY and Barry Gilvin of Mt. Sterling, KY; two sisters, Phyllis Estepp of Mt. Sterling, KY and Karen Gilvin of Jeffersonville, KY; and four grandchildren, Haley Gilvin, Austin Gilvin, Hanna Gilvin and Braxton Gilvin.

A funeral service will be held 1 PM, Friday, August 6, 2021 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor James Hendrix officiating, burial following at Owingsville Cemetery.  A visitation will be held 11-1 PM, Friday, August 6, 2021 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel.  Pallbearers will be David Oakley, Brad Oakley, Dustin Hurst, Eddy Roberts, Charles Hurst and Rob Lawson.
