Thomas Scott Goetzinger, 32, of Danville, KY passed away on May 15th, 2025 at the University of Kentucky Hospital in Lexington, KY with family by his side. Scott was born on May 29th, 1992 in Marietta, Georgia and was the son of the late John Thomas Goetzinger and Tracy Kathryn Field.

Scott was loved by so many. He wasn't scared of anything— he always stayed true to himself and encouraged others to do the same. He taught us to not take life too seriously and to always find a good time. His smile and laugh were contagious. He spent his whole life on his skateboard, something that brought him an undeniable persistence. He loved to tear it up with friends, listen to country western classics, play his guitar, work in his garden, and cook. He especially loved his son, Knox, and he found family in so many around him.

Scott is survived by his son, Knox Thomas Goetzinger, his sister, Emma Kathryn Goetzinger, his brothers Adam Michael Ducote and John Garrett Goetzinger, his stepmother Mary Vi Goetzinger, his stepfather, Christopher Paul Rambosek, and his Aunt Kelly Field.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date so that his family and friends can share memories with joy.
